Version 1.00 - Ready. Set. Launch!
Hello gamers, the PC version of Lowlife Orbit 64 has finally been completed for 1.00! Very grateful for all of the support and interest, and I hope you find some enjoyment in what this arena has to offer. Try it, it's completely free - wow!
It can be challenging, chaotic, and even a bit disorienting, but once you get your bearings I hope you will find yourself in the zone of hyper-acrobatic, super-lethal action that this game could (potentially!) provide. Remember, lead your targets and check the minimap to ensure a safe landing when engaging mid-air. There might still be some optimizations to work out on a later date, but for now I hope you can find something to like about this lo-fi, low-gravity arena shooter. This is the result of about three-and-a-half months of work, honestly the very first time ever working with this set of tools (Unity). It has been a learning experience, trying to make something that evolves over the course of your game session. In that respect, prepare yourself for character upgrades, random power-ups, as well as islands that ascend into and expand the play area.
If you find yourself spending an hour or two trying to master the challenges of Lowlife Orbit 64, attuning your senses to that of an extragalactic gladiator, please consider sharing with your friends, uploading a video or screenshot of your best run, or even donating a meager sum to yours truly. All of that is greatly appreciated, given the vast amount of other great games that are out there.
If there are any major issues, bugs, or anomalous behaviors - please report them to me at support@oobeye.net. I will personally be a bit sidetracked in these upcoming weeks, but I'll promise to take a look at any feedback to improve the experience within the scope that exists at this point. Until then, have fun and unleash your fury at these floating orbs...
